Known Issue: Infinite Redirect When Logging Into lolesports.com; Reinstalling League of Legends; Login Issues; Setting up your Permissions
According to Riot Games, you need to close all the Riot client and LeagueofLegends.exe processes to fix League of Legends unexpected login errors. If the issue persists, close the KillerServiceNetwork executable as well. Follow the steps below to kill all the Riot and LoL processes running in the background:
League of Legends as a service, isn’t immune to the rather frequent issues that such online-based platforms are susceptible to. We’ve seen a few too many issues with this online game in the past. Now, players of League of Legends are facing an issue that leaves them unable to log into the game.
To log out of all devices, follow these steps: Sign in to your Riot account page. Locate the Login Management card. Click the LOG OUT EVERYWHERE button. This will not only log you out of all devices, but also revoke their “trusted device” status. My 2FA emails are going to an email address I no longer have access to.
Go to leagueoflegends.com. After logging in, click on your Summoner name in the top right hand corner. Click on Settings in the drop down menu. Under Account Protection, make sure that your email address is correct. This is where your verification email will be sent. Click on the "Verify Now" button once you are ready to proceed.
If the issue persists, but your internet connection on the device is stable and appears to be the usual speed, you will have to reinstall the game and attempt to log in again. You may have to reach out to the League of Legends Support Team and have a ticket submitted for your concern. League of Legends is available now on PC.
